This is the Natura Laurel Luxury Mattress offered without the accompanying Universal Foundation, suitable for use on a slat platform bed. Please note that Natura will not warrant their mattresses if they are used on a foundation from another manufacturer.
The Laurel Luxury Mattress is part of the GreenSpring Series from Natura, combining individually pocketed coil innersprings with eco friendly foam products, wool and natural cotton fabrics.
This mattress starts with a 744 Model (this is the number of coils in a queen size mattress) Pre-Compressed, Individually Pocketed Coil Innerspring that is foam encased in a plant based Polyfoam. On top of the spring unit is 1 inch of Plant Based Polyfoam and another 1 inch of Soft Blended Talalay Latex. This gives the mattress a medium-firm feel.
The mattress cover is quilted with 1 inch of high quality Plant Based Quilt Foam and 2.7 pounds of Pure NaturaWool. The cover fabric is 100% natural cotton.
